James Cuevas - CEO
James is an experienced construction professional who is Chief Operating Officer
for JJC Project Management Group, a firm specializing in General Construction, Architectural Consulting, Construction
Management and Concrete Construction since 1998. Prior to incorporating, he was owner and sole proprietor of JJC Construction
which began operation in 1987 specializing in residential remodels and contracting work with financial institutions as GC
and Project Manager. He has over 28 years experience within the construction industry at the field and management level
starting as a laborer in 1979 and progressively working his way up thru the ranks as a framer, concrete finisher, carpenter,
site superintendent, project manager, contractor, and architect. James is a California licensed Architect and General Contractor.
James graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic
University, Pomona, California in 1985. James was first licensed as a General Contractor in 1987 and is currently a member
of the American Institute of Architects.
With project experience that spans commercial tenant improvements and ground
up facilities. Projects executed include building out general office space, retail store fronts, inline, end caps, free
standing pads, and ground up retail sites. Specialty niche contracts have included construction and project management for
bank mergers, ATM roll out projects, safe deposit consolidations, cosmetic refurbishment roll outs, minor remodel construction,
and major phased remodel projects.
JJCPMG has shepherded projects from the conceptual stage thru design development and
construction drawings with Municipal Planning, Public Works / Engineering, Building and Safety departments in addition
to coordinating underground wet and dry utility approvals prior to permits being issued. We have worked diligently to
coordinate and establish a working relationship with all civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing engineers
to insure project issues are dealt with early on for a successful project.
